Introduction

If you've ever wondered what it would be like to visit the Wild West, well, Montana has got you covered. The state's nickname is "Big Sky Country," and it's easy to see why. Montana has some of the most beautiful vistas in the country—and they're waiting for your next road trip!

Yellowstone Park

Yellowstone National Park is an American national park located mostly in Wyoming, but also extending into Montana and Idaho. It was established by the U.S. Congress and signed into law by President Ulysses S. Grant on March 1, 1872

This makes Yellowstone the first national park in the world, as well as one of the first protected areas to receive official protection by a national government (the Royal National Park in England being another).

Glacier National Park

Glacier National Park is a national park in the US state of Montana, located on the Canada–US border with Alberta. It was established as a national park on May 11, 1910.

Big Sky Ski Area

Big Sky is the largest ski area in the lower 48, and it has some pretty impressive stats to back that up. The resort boasts the best snow in the country, with 635 inches of annual average snowfall—that's nearly three times what we get in New York City!

The mountain also has a vertical drop of 3,500 feet—more than any other ski area in Montana or neighboring states. That means you can ride down from high above treeline on one side of Big Sky Resort and end up skiing directly into town without ever touching pavement or even leaving your skis on!

And if you're looking for extreme terrain options, Big Sky has got 'em: more than 150 square miles of open bowls, steep chutes and glades spread over six peaks (including Lone Peak), only accessible by lift lines or hiking trails—or both!

Great Falls

Great Falls is a city in and the county seat of Cascade County, Montana, United States. The population was 59,937 at the 2010 census. It is the principal city of the Great Falls, Montana Metropolitan Statistical Area, which encompasses all of Cascade County and has a population of 82,384.

Flathead Lake

Flathead Lake is the largest natural freshwater lake in the western United States. It's a popular destination for boating, fishing and other water sports.

Flathead Lake is located in Flathead County, Montana and is surrounded by Glacier National Park. It has numerous islands that are accessible only by boat or plane.

Montana is a beautiful place to spend time outdoors.

Montana is a great place to spend time outdoors. If you enjoy hiking, camping and fishing, then Montana is the perfect state for you. The scenery in Montana is breathtaking and there are plenty of activities to keep you busy.

If you like skiing or snowboarding, then Montana has some of the best slopes in the world! There are many ski resorts with varying difficulties from beginner to advanced so there is something for everyone!

Biking through these scenic areas is another fun way to see what this beautiful part of America has to offer. If biking isn't your thing but still want a nice ride while on vacation then take advantage of renting one of their canoes/kayaks or go boating on one of their lakes!
